I grew up with dancer's discipline: routines, stability and goals. All of these things were a plus in my yoga practice, but that's not why I started it.

After living on anti-depressants and suffering from panic attacks, I attended my first yoga class in 2007. A couple of months later I quit the medications and focused on cleaning up my diet and lifestyle. It's been more than 15 years and I still have a daily practice that brings me back to that stability of focusing on my routines and healing.

I turned the focus from goals to growth, and I managed to see myself from a place of love.

Growing up in Panama got me used to tropical life, light meals and warmth all year round. In 2016 we moved to Boston while pregnant with my first child, leaving my business, friends and family behind. Experiencing for the first time living in a city with the 4 seasons, and the changes that my body and mind were going through, made me connect and find myself on a deeper level, leaving behind what I no longer felt comfortable with.
